The use of the Flex-Hone® tool in fluid technology
We supply flexible honing tools to pump manufacturers and manufacturers of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, among others. Fluid technology is a form of power transmission in which a liquid or gas is used to convert and distribute power while providing extremely high force and torque values. With the aid of pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders, fluid power systems generate linear movements and can transmit power equivalent to that of electrical and mechanical drives.

Burrs, sharp surface edges and surface roughness can lead to injuries, cause mechanical and electrical problems and shorten the service life of components. Flex-Hone® - tool diameter, speed and number of strokes
Our flexible honing brushes are low-speed tools. As a rule, the tool diameter and application determine the optimum speeds. Smaller brushes require higher speeds, larger brushes require lower speeds.Like the speed, the stroke length is also very important. Together with the stroke length, the cross-hatch angle (if available) is also important to consider, as large cross-hatch angles in particular require faster stroke rates.

Cup brushes - different models and their application
There are many different types of cup brushes. Stocking is an important factor. Wire brushes are best suited for removing burrs and surface preparation on large surfaces. Nylon cup wheels are ideal for light deburring, edge smoothing and general surface finishing. Other applications for cup brushes are the removal of rust, paint and welding scale.
