The RV516 is one of the fastest and most accurate valve taper grinding machines currently available on the market. The centerless grinding system – which allows the valve to rotate on its stem – ensures perfect concentricity between head and stem (within 0.01 mm) and can machine a wide range of valve stem diameters (4 to 16 mm) without the need to replace a collet or spindle. The valve is driven by three motorized rollers. The upper roller is tilted to drive the valve automatically via an adjustable control switch. This guarantees precise control of the length of each valve and avoids manual feeding of the valve to the grinding wheel.
