The Flex-Hone® tool is a robust, flexible honing tool that is used to improve the internal surface finish and can simultaneously deburr a bore or cylinder. It consists of abrasive beads laminated onto the ends of flexible nylon threads. Thanks to its unique design, the tool is self-aligning, self-centering and self-adjusting when worn. Loose, cracked and tilted metal is removed and an essentially flat or level surface is produced. Another important application is the deburring of cross holes and slots.
