Flex-Hone for chamfers is suitable for machining cylinders and bores with diameters from 4 mm up to 1". It is designed for polishing radii, external corners (intersection of chamfer and flange surface), internal corners and bores. The increased flexibility allows the tool to pass through thin components and polish the chamfer on the back. Polished and rounded chamfer surfaces have proven to be very advantageous for critically rotating parts. The overall length for 4mm- 3/16" is 6", for 5mm-1" the overall length is 8".
