This is a wider version of our standard twisted surface wire brushes, consisting of tufts that are twisted to about 2/3 of their length to promote a more robust and aggressive cutting action. The tufts absorb vibration, which helps to reduce wire fatigue. These round brushes are used where a strong brushing action is required.
Features and benefits
- Crimped bristle brushes provide extra strength compared to straight bristles and are often used where the impact of a straight bristle brush would alter the surface.
- Carbon steel is rust inhibiting and corrosion resistant. It is cost effective, easy to shape and is used for general applications such as deburring and cleaning.
