VPT160 is a hydraulic pressure tester that makes it possible to detect possible cracks and leaks in cylinder heads and blocks with precision and ease by immersing them in hot water. The tank with lid is made of stainless steel and is perfectly insulated to prevent heat spreading. The water is heated by two powerful heating elements that work independently of each other and are controlled by an automatic timer that includes heating programs to optimize and reduce power consumption. This machine can accommodate heads and blocks up to a length of 1350 mm. The head is clamped on a carriage driven by a hydraulic power unit that can move particularly heavy heads and blocks. This frame can also be rotated 360° and allows the entire head to be seen, even when fully submerged, for easy and quick leak detection.
