RP1000 is a facing machine for machining the cylinder heads and cylinder blocks of cars and trucks, but also for all flat surfaces that require optimum accuracy of the contact surfaces. The machine components such as body, table, column and head are made of high quality cast iron. The table moves by means of an extremely precise and regular spindle drive, which ensures optimum movement even at low speed. A frequency converter on the geared motor provides a variable feed rate with adjustment options via a potentiometer. An additional frequency converter regulates the spindle speed in order to always achieve the ideal cutting speed. The speed of the rotations is shown on a clearly visible display. For simple and safe control of the machine, the control panel is located on a rotating console that can be adapted to suit any operator. The standard equipment includes the rapid movement of the head, an efficient cooling system and the device for dressing the grinding wheel with diamond. Optional accessories are also available, such as a universal fixture for mounting angled cylinder heads, the mounting kit for V-blocks and the rotary table for grinding flywheels, clutch disks or brake disks.
