The RP1400 CNC is a facing machine for cylinder heads and engine blocks of cars and trucks as well as for all flat surfaces that require maximum accuracy of the contact surfaces. The design technology combines highly innovative solutions, such as the brushless motor for automatic and precise positioning of the milling plate – which is CNC-controlled – with proven technologies, such as the linear guides and ball screws. The axes and the rotational speed of the milling cutter are controlled by an inverter. It is possible to monitor the feed speed. The control panel is an industrial touch screen. The RP1400 CNC can be supplied with a 405 mm diameter CBN-PCD cutter plate with tool holder for machining cast iron or aluminum surfaces. For heads with pre-chambers, you can use a special tool to ensure a perfect finish. The RP1400 CNC is called a "Smart Resurfacer" because it has a laser sensor that scans the surfaces of the cylinder heads to detect their profile and automate the milling operations.
