The TD502 turning machine completely changes the concept of brake disk reconditioning in trucks and buses. No more time wasted dismantling the disk for turning on the workbench. Now the machining operations can be carried out directly on the hub. This revolutionary idea has led to the development of a machine that reduces set-up time to a minimum. It is mounted on a pivoting and height-adjustable self-aligning saddle, which always guarantees perfect alignment between the machine and the hub. The solid cast iron machine body has an empty center section that does not collide with the reduction gear (especially with rear axles). This ensures that the machine is positioned very close to the wheel, which enables much more precise reconditioning. In addition, the intermittent and adjustable feed ensures precise finishing on any surface.
