Air amplifiers are simple, low-maintenance designs that can move gases, vapors, light materials and large volumes of air for cooling, drying and blowing applications. Air amplifiers utilize the Coanda effect, which drives a large amount of ambient air with only a small amount of compressed air.
Depending on its size, an air amplifier generates up to 30 times the air amplification at a very low noise level. By using only compressed air, the flow rate and negative pressure can be easily controlled by opening or closing the air slot or inlet pressure. Each end of the air amplifier can be ducted to accommodate all types of applications, from the supply of fresh air to the extraction of unwanted vapors. The amount of compressed air can be adjusted with stainless steel spacers. We recommend the standard model of the Airmasters air amplifier for most applications.
