Deburring in the Jewelry Industry
Our sPINner magnetic deburring and polishing machine ensures the precise removal of sharp edges, burrs, and irregularities from small and precision parts, and is also widely used in the jewelry industry.
In the jewelry industry, deburring plays an essential role in the production of high-quality jewelry. It Various deburring methods are employed, depending on the specific requirements of the piece of jewelry and the manufacturing process. In addition to manual deburring, machine deburring techniques are also employed, particularly in the production of larger jewelry pieces or for mass production. Automated deburring machines utilize grinding or polishing processes to eliminate unwanted material excesses. These machines enable faster and more efficient deburring while simultaneously adhering to high quality standards.
Your Benefits
- Easy deburring, cleaning, and polishing of precision parts for electrical engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, medical technology, watchmaking, jewelry industry, etc.
- Suitable for all materials such as steel, stainless steel, bronze, copper, brass, aluminum, tin, plastic, gold, silver, platinum, etc.
- Fine finish without changing tolerances, suitable for delicate parts
- Small bores can be easily deburred
How the sPINner works
The principle is simple: Stainless steel pins are set into vigorous motion by a rotating magnetic field. This gently deburrs and polishes the parts, which are located in a container together with the pins in a liquid. Processing times range from 3 to 30 minutes, depending on the application. Steel pins are available in various dimensions with diameters from 0.2 – 1.2 mm and lengths from 1 – 5 mm.
