Deburring in the jewelry industry
Our sPINner magnetic deburring and polishing machine ensures precise removal of sharp edges, burrs and irregularities from small and precision parts and is also widely used in the jewelry industry.
In the jewelry industry, deburring plays a key role in the production of high-quality jewelry. It different deburring methods are used, depending on the specific requirements of the piece of jewelry and the manufacturing process. In addition to manual deburring, machine deburring techniques are also used, particularly in the manufacture of larger pieces of jewelry or in mass production. Automated deburring machines use grinding or polishing processes to remove the unwanted excess material. These machines enable faster and more efficient deburring while maintaining high quality standards.
Your advantages
- Easy deburring, cleaning and polishing of precision parts for electrical engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, medical technology, the watch industry, jewelry industry, etc.
- Suitable for all materials such as steel, stainless steel, bronze, copper, brass, aluminum, tin, plastic, gold, silver, platinum, etc.
- Fine finish without changing tolerances, suitable for sensitive parts
- Small drill holes can be easily deburred
How the sPINner works
The principle is simple: stainless steel pins are set in violent motion by a rotating magnetic field. This gently deburrs and polishes the parts, which are in a container together with the pins in a liquid. Processing times are between 3 and 30 minutes, depending on the application. Steel pins are available in various dimensions with diameters of 0.2 – 1.2 mm and lengths of 1 – 5 mm.
