Our sPINner magnetic deburring andpolishing machines are primarily designed for deburring and polishing large quantities of small workpieces. The parts are placed together with the grinding medium (stainless steel pins) in a container of water with a small amount of a mass finishing additive and placed on the machine. A rotating magnetic field sets the steel pins in violent motion and ensures gentle processing. After completion, the parts are separated from the medium using a magnet, a sieve or the HD-712 magnetic separator.
The machines are designed for series production. The operator only has to take care of loading and unloading, the work cycle itself then runs fully automatically with the selected values for rotation speed and duration of clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation. Depending on the machine, up to three runs can be set for one cycle. Only the smallest machine, the HD-716, has only one direction and speed of rotation. To avoid idle times of the machine, two containers are used, which are then simply exchanged for loading and unloading at the end of the processing cycle.
The process is suitable for practically all metals and hard plastics. Due to its properties, it is also suitable for processing sensitive parts, e.g. in the watch industry or for processing gold, silver and platinum in the jewelry industry.
Stainless steel pins are set in violent motion by a rotating magnetic field. This gently deburrs and polishes the parts, which are in a container together with the pins in a liquid.
Due to their shape, the stainless steel pins penetrate into slots and holes and also reach places where the chips cannot reach.
They remove burrs without changing the macro geometry of the parts. The process can therefore also be used for precision parts. The typical processing time is only between 5 and 20 minutes.
Your advantages
- Especially suitable for irregularly shaped parts
- Simultaneous deburring, polishing and cleaning
- Short processing times, simple and safe operation
- Low costs – hardly any consumables
- No change to the macro geometry
- also suitable for threads and precision parts.
The maximum load depends on the material, size and shape of the workpieces to be processed. The optimum parameters for specific processing can be determined in tests.
