Special flex-hone for rotors

Flex-Hone for rotors gives new and machined brake rotors the ideal surface finish to ensure instant brake pad stop and prevent squealing. Our unique tool utilizes patented Flex-Hone® technology to create a non-directional surface or cross-hone while removing torn and bent material caused by turning or dressing. Friction-induced brake noise is the main reason for customer dissatisfaction and returns when buying new brakes. By removing the jagged areas of a chipped braking surface, the tool creates a flat grinding pattern with a much larger contact area, resulting in quieter brakes. Flex-Hone for rotors can also be used for flywheels to improve friction properties. The finish produced with Flex-Hone for rotors is more consistent and repeatable compared to sandpaper or sanding discs.
