Emission measurement

Measuring vehicle emissions is crucial for environmental compatibility and sustainability. With stricter environmental regulations, exhaust gases are analyzed for pollutants such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, unburned hydrocarbons and particulate matter to comply with legal emission limits. This monitoring is important as emissions contribute to air pollution and health problems. Measurements are often taken during vehicle registrations and technical inspections. Non-compliant vehicles must be retrofitted or taken off the road. Emission measurements also promote the development of more environmentally friendly technologies, motivate manufacturers to produce more efficient engines and research alternative drive systems. They are therefore a key element in the fight against air pollution and climate change, reduce environmental pollution and support global sustainability efforts.
